1 Refund Policy Overview
At MYLEJA SDN. BHD. (operating as "Leja"), we are committed to customer satisfaction. We understand that circumstances change, and we want to ensure you have flexibility with your subscription.
Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent:
- Pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of your subscription
- 14-day cooling off period for new subscriptions with full refund
- Simple process - request through your account or contact support
- Fast processing - refunds processed within 5-10 business days
2 Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a refund if:

- You cancel within the 14-day cooling off period (new subscriptions)
- You cancel your subscription mid-cycle (pro-rata refund)
- You downgrade to a lower-tier plan (credit or refund for difference)
- Service outage exceeds our SLA commitments
- Duplicate or erroneous charges
- You were charged after requesting cancellation
Not Eligible for Refund
- Account terminated for Terms of Service violation
- Free trial periods (no charge to refund)
- One-time setup fees (non-refundable)
- Third-party add-on charges
- Promotional or heavily discounted subscriptions
- Refund already processed for the same period
3 How Refunds Are Calculated
We calculate refunds on a pro-rata basis based on the unused days remaining in your billing cycle.
Pro-Rata Refund Formula
Refund Amount = (Subscription Fee ÷ Total Days) × Unused Days
Example Calculation

4 14-Day Cooling Off Period
For new paid subscriptions, we offer a 14-day cooling off period during which you can cancel and receive a full refund, no questions asked.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Cancel within 14 days of your first paid subscription for a full refund. This applies to new customers only and cannot be combined with free trials.
Conditions:
- Applies only to first-time paid subscriptions
- The 14-day period starts from the date of your first payment
- Does not apply if you previously had a paid subscription and are resubscribing
- Does not apply to renewals of existing subscriptions
- Any data entered during the period will be deleted upon cancellation
5 How to Request a Refund
You can request a refund through any of the following methods:
Account Settings
Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your refund will be calculated automatically.
Information Required:
- Your registered email address
- Company/Account name
- Reason for cancellation (optional, helps us improve)
- Preferred refund method (original payment method by default)
6 Processing Time

7 What's Not Refundable
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Setup Fees: One-time setup or onboarding fees are non-refundable as they cover services already rendered.
- Add-On Services: Third-party integrations, custom development, or professional services purchased separately.
- Promotional Offers: Subscriptions purchased at heavily discounted promotional rates (e.g., lifetime deals, special promotions exceeding 50% discount).
- Terms Violation: Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- Free Tier: The Free plan has no associated charges and therefore no refunds apply.
- Data Export Services: Fees for expedited data export or migration assistance after account cancellation.
8 Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan mid-cycle:
Downgrade Options
Account Credit (Default)
The difference is added as credit to your account and automatically applied to future invoices.
Cash Refund (On Request)
You may request a cash refund instead of account credit by contacting our billing team.
Example: If you downgrade from Business (RM199/month) to Pro (RM99/month) with 15 days remaining, you'll receive a credit of approximately RM50 [(RM199-RM99) ÷ 30 × 15].
9 Disputes & Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly.
Important
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account. We reserve the right to dispute fraudulent chargebacks and may pursue recovery of any associated fees.
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged:
- Contact our billing team at billing@leja.my
- Provide details of the charge in question
- Allow us 5 business days to investigate and respond
- We will issue a refund if the charge was made in error
