Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1 Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and MYLEJA SDN. BHD. (Company Registration No. 202501030490 / 1631902-U), operating as "Leja" ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our cloud-based business management platform at leja.my ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2 Description of Service

Leja is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform providing integrated business management solutions, including:

Human Resources
Payroll, attendance, leave, claims
Finance & Accounting
Invoicing, e-Invoice, GL
Inventory
Stock management, PO, GRN

The Service is provided via the internet and is accessible through web browsers and mobile applications. Features may vary based on your subscription plan.

3 Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4 Subscription & Billing

Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different features and pricing. Details of each plan are available on our Pricing page. You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time, with changes taking effect at the next billing cycle.

Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your chosen plan. All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated.

Payment Methods

We accept payment via credit/debit cards and online banking through our payment processor. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due.

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, if you cancel within the first 14 days of your initial subscription (new accounts only), you may request a full refund. Refunds for annual subscriptions will be prorated based on months used.

Price Changes

We may modify our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle but will apply to subsequent renewals.

5 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Engage in fraudulent activities
  • Harvest or collect user data without consent
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Bypass any security measures or access restrictions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use policies.

6 Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, software, and branding, is owned by MYLEJA SDN. BHD. and is protected by Malaysian and international intellectual property laws.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription period. This license does not include the right to:

  • Modify, copy, or create derivative works
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the software
  • Remove any proprietary notices or labels
  • Transfer your license to another party

7 User Content

Your Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the data you input into the Service ("User Content"). This includes employee records, financial transactions, inventory data, and any other business information you store in our system.

License to Us

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service. We will not sell or share your User Content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

Backup Responsibility

While we maintain regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of User Content. We provide data export features to help you create backups.

Data Export

You may export your User Content at any time through the platform's export features. Upon account termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is deleted.

8 Availability & Support

Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. Unscheduled downtime may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

Support availability depends on your subscription plan:

9 Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT: To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

10 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MYLEJA SDN. BHD., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any User Content you provide

11 Termination

By You

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Fail to pay fees when due
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Pose a security risk to the Service
Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will cease
  • You will have 30 days to export your data
  • After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted
  • Any outstanding fees remain payable

12 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

13 Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any disputes with us through the following process:

  1. Informal Resolution: Contact us at legal@leja.my to discuss and attempt to resolve the dispute.
  2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails within 30 days, either party may request mediation through the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).
  3. Litigation: If mediation fails, either party may pursue legal action in the courts of Malaysia.

14 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Sending an email notification at least 30 days before changes take effect

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
